2006 Ford Transit 2.0 TD MWB Camper Van 2 Berth Heating/Hot Water

Sold last year to one of our customer he has just traded it back into us against a much newer camper van.

2 Berth: 2 persons on rock and roll bed

Specification to include: Propex gas blown air heating, hot water boiler, hot/cold external shower (ideal for dog/sandy feet etc!), gas grill, twin gas hob, 3 way fridge/freezer, kitchen sink with hot/cold mixer tap, 12v lighting, rotating passenger seat, tow bar with electrics, 12v leisure battery system with split charger, 240v hook up, 240v sockets, 12v sockets.

Engine: 2.0TD engine (100BHP) with 5 speed manual gearbox, only 3 private owners from new (+ supplying dealer)

Comes with handbooks, old MOT's, service/repair bills in excess of £5000+

The previous owner to last had this van from 2014 until end of 2021, over 7 years. During that time he spent a fortune on servicing/maintaining this van, mainly at Ford dealers. I haven't added the invoices up but they easily exceed £5000.

Time for a reality check. This is a 17yr old Transit van, and as such it has had plenty of welding repairs previously and will need them again in the future, that's just the nature of older vans unfortunately. The difference with this one is that Ford have carried out most of the previous welding, which I'm sure you will agree is unusual (and expensive!). The paintwork is bright and tidy but there are some marks and scratches here and there, and also some bubbling under the paintwork around a couple of the vents (PLEASE VIEW YOU TUBE VIDEO!)

The van was previously traded into a large motorhome dealer in Devon who we buy stock from. Our driver drove this van 250+ miles back to base and was amazed at how nice it drives, probably something to do with the nice mileage and the fact it has been very well maintained by it's 4 private owners.

The van isn't perfect, far from it, but it is an honest tidy looking example with decent camper conversion, nice mileage and lots of history.

This Transit comes with a report from MotorCheck to confirm that it has a clean bill of health (no previous accidents, no outstanding finance, mileage history confirmation, no stories!!)

Part Exchange
In most instances we would be very enthusiastic to take your current camper van or motorhome in part exchange against this vehicle. Or we will also consider your car at trade prices as we would just normally trade it onto the small network of car dealers that we sell to. I'm sorry but we don't deal in the following: caravans, boats or motorbikes.

Payment
You can RESERVE this vehicle with ONLY a £500 deposit payable by bank transfer. An invoice would be emailed to you along with our company bank info and a welcome email explaining in black and white everything that the vehicle is going to come with. The balance wherever possible would need to be paid by bank transfer on collection/delivery. We don't have finance facilities sorry.

MOT Workshops
Once sold the majority of campers/motorhomes will go through one of the two independent Lincs MOT workshops that we use and have a fresh new 12m MOT carried out and also normally an engine oil service at the same time (unless it has been recently done) along with anything else the vehicle requires mechanically. We use two different MOT workshops depending on the size of the vehicle. WE DO NOT CARRY OUT MOT'S OURSELVES

Habitation Checks
All retail vehicles will come with a habitation check covering gas/240v/12v and to ensure that all appliances are functioning correctly. Some habitation checks are carried out by Lincs Motorhome & Caravan Services whereas others are checked in-house (depends on vehicle type and how busy LMCS is)

Delivery
On our retail Camper/Motorhome vehicles we can offer NATIONWIDE delivery at a cost of £1.50 per mile one way. For example if you are 100 miles away from LN11 8TF then the price you would pay is £150. We would either have our driver deliver the vehicle on trade plates or we would use a local transport company called VMS in Horncastle if our driver is busy or on holiday etc.

Collection
You are most welcome to come to us to collect. If you prefer to come by train or plane to collect your new camper/motorhome in Lincolnshire then one of us can come and pick you up from Grimsby Town, Market Rasen or Lincoln Train stations, or from Humberside airport. If you come and collect then we can do a full demonstration of your vehicle on handover which we are unable to offer if you opt for the delivery service.
