We can also offer you 'Click and Collect' where you reserve the vehicle online with a £500 deposit then collect from our base near Louth in Lincolnshire once it has been through the workshop etc.

Wheelhome is a small family run business based in a little village near Brentwood, Essex. They have been the specialists in building compact and garageable elevating roof Motorcaravans that function as daily use cars since 1986, now that's a long time!

This Skamper II model has an absolutely ingenious roof design where the beds side out from the roof allowing 2 adults (upto 6ft 2in!) room to sleep in comfort.

Specification to include: Electric roof, 240v hook up, option for 1 travelling seats in rear with belt, sink with cold water, 2 ring gas hob, 12v cool box, Thetford Porta Potti (unused!), leisure battery, 12v lighting, removable table, electric windows, air conditioning (front cab), privacy glass.

Super economical 1248cc 16v MJET Diesel engine returns 45-50MPG, 5 speed manual gearbox.

This 1 owner low mileage Skamper II is in amazing condition having been cherished from new. The original toilet (10yrs old) is UNUSED, when we popped the roof up you would think the canvas had been replaced, it was like new, however it is the original 10yr old canvas, I don't even think the beds upstairs have ever been used! Looks like this little camper has been used as a day van/runaround only, it is truly a credit to it's gentleman owner from new! Only cosmetic imperfection I can see is a small scuff on the front corner plastic of the bumper (see YouTube video)

Part Exchange
In most instances we would be very enthusiastic to take your current camper van or motorhome in part exchange against this vehicle. Or we will also consider your car, commercial van, or horsebox/horse trailer. Please send details of your vehicle by Email, WhatsApp or Text including reg number and photographs wherever possible so that we may arrive at the absolute best possible price for you. If you don't have anything to trade in then we can discuss some discount!!

Payment
You can RESERVE this vehicle with ONLY a £500 deposit payable by credit/debit card, bank transfer or cash. If you are reserving over the phone or by email a sales invoice would be emailed to you along with a secure card payment link and our company bank info. The deposit is fully refundable. The balance wherever possible would need to be paid by bank transfer on collection/delivery. While we are unable to accept full payment for a vehicle by credit card, on most vehicles we may consider accepting part of the payment by credit card if it helps. The same applies for cash payments, we can accept some of the payment in cash but not the full amount due to bank charges and regulations etc.

MOT Workshop
Once sold the majority of campers/motorhomes will go through the workshop and have a fresh new 12m MOT carried out and an engine oil service at the same time along with anything else the vehicle requires. The MOT workshop we use is called M. A. Stephensons who are a local company well established with superb workshop facilities including a purpose built MOT building with very large ramps and high access doors which allow them to MOT/service even the largest of vehicles which is ideal for us as some of our motorhomes are 7.5m+ in length and 3m+ high!

In-House Workshops
We have our own workshops on site. The first we use for PDi's (Pre Delivery Inspections) as well as valets and general 'snagging lists' on our sold vehicles. The second workshop is our habitation check workshop. This is where Jon our technical guy carries out habitation checks to vehicles and also fits solar panels, camera systems, and also any electrical work and problem solving. Jon is a qualified MCEA engineer and there appears to be no limit to his talents!

Warranty
For your peace of mind we give a 3 month comprehensive Nationwide warranty on all of our camper vans/motorhomes. While every precaution is taken to ensure the vehicle is free of faults upon delivery/collection now and again things can and do go wrong and when they do we will assist you to have the problem fixed. We would work with a local repairer to yourselves to have any work completed.

Full details of the warranty are available on our website. There is a claims procedure that would need to be followed in the unlikely event that you have an issue.

Delivery
On our retail Camper/Motorhome vehicles we can normally offer you FREE NATIONWIDE DELIVERY, however this would be on a case by case basis as it will depend on your location, the price of the vehicle, and the margin we have in the vehicle. Please get in touch with your postcode and we can let you know about delivery.

Collection
You are of course most welcome to come to us to collect. If you prefer to come by train or plane to collect your new camper/motorhome in Lincolnshire then one of us can come and pick you up from Grimsby Town or Market Rasen Train stations, or from Humberside airport.

Viewings
Please be aware that all viewings are by pre arranged appointment only. We work from home in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside and do not have set opening hours unlike traditional high street showrooms, therefore if you were to turn up and we didn't know that you were coming, then there is a distinct possibility that Darren who handles all of the sales enquiries may not be on site to see you and you will have had a wasted journey.

Viewings can be arranged 6 days a week Monday to Saturday between the hours of 9.00am and 7.00pm. Please note we do not offer viewings on a Sunday or a Bank Holiday, however you would still normally receive a reply to your enquiry at some point on these days.
