1984 Transporter T25 Left Hand Drive LHD Camper Van Classic 2 Berth

Here we have a classic 36yr old Left Hand Drive VW Transporter camper van that has been in the UK since 1989. We have just taken this camper in part exchange against one of our retail camper vans.

It comes with a box file full of invoices, old MOT's etc and had a replacement petrol engine in 2017 in addition to a new fuel tank, radiator, suspension, rear brakes etc. Lots of money has spent mechanically. The bodywork, while solid, has seen numerous metal panel repair/replacement and to be honest these could have been finished off better (please view HD image gallery above to see these areas). Two choices: either spend the money and have a full paint job done and have the panels corrected, or just use 'as is' because without doubt the camper is full of personality and drives really well, once you get used to the 'dogleg' gearbox!

KMS shows on odometer as 63069 (around 40,000 miles) and while this checks out with the MOT history online it would be safe to assume it has been around the clock previously due to the fact it is 36yrs of age.

Specification to include: Twin gas hob, sink with cold water tap, 12v/240v inverter, cool box, 240v hook up, leisure battery, rock and roll bed, 12v lighting, roof vent, CD player.

Has got MOT until 21/09/2020 (no advisories). Had a service in 2019 (oil, filter, air filter, fuel filter)

This VW T25 camper comes with a comprehensive 4 page report from Motor Check to confirm that it has no hidden stories (no finance, not an insurance write off, verified mileage history etc etc)

Part Exchange
In most instances we would be very enthusiastic to take your current camper van or motorhome in part exchange against this vehicle. Or we will also consider your car, commercial van, or horsebox/horse trailer. Please send details of your vehicle by Email, WhatsApp or Text including reg number and photographs wherever possible so that we may arrive at the absolute best possible price for you. If you don't have anything to trade in then we can discuss some discount!!

Payment
You can RESERVE this vehicle with ONLY a £500 deposit payable by credit/debit card, bank transfer or cash. If you are reserving over the phone or by email a sales invoice would be emailed to you along with a secure card payment link and our company bank info. The balance wherever possible would need to be paid by bank transfer on collection/delivery. While we are unable to accept full payment for a vehicle by credit card, on most vehicles we may consider accepting part of the payment by credit card if it helps. The same applies for cash payments, we can accept some of the payment in cash but not the full amount due to bank charges and regulations etc.

Workshop
The workshop we use is called MJ Watts Motor Engineers and they have been in business since the 1970's and have an outstanding reputation. You would receive a copy of the invoice we get from them showing in great detail the work they have carried out on the vehicle.

Warranty
For your peace of mind we give a 3 month comprehensive Nationwide warranty on all of our camper vans/motorhomes. While every precaution is taken to ensure the vehicle is free of faults upon delivery/collection now and again things can and do go wrong and when they do we will assist you to have the problem fixed. We would work with a local repairer to yourselves to have any work completed.

Delivery
On our retail Camper/Motorhome vehicles we can normally offer you FREE NATIONWIDE DELIVERY, however this would be on a case by case basis as it will depend on your location, the price of the vehicle, and the margin we have in the vehicle. Please get in touch with your postcode and we can let you know about delivery.

Collection
You are of course most welcome to come to us to collect. If you prefer to come by train or plane to collect your new camper/motorhome in Lincolnshire then one of us can come and pick you up from Grimsby Town or Market Rasen Train stations, or from Humberside airport.

Viewings
Please be aware that all viewings are by pre arranged appointment only. We work from home in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside and do not have set opening hours unlike traditional high street showrooms, therefore if you were to turn up and we didn't know that you were coming, then there is a distinct possibility that Darren who handles all of the sales enquiries may not be on site to see you.

Viewings can be arranged 6 days a week Monday to Saturday between the hours of 9.00am and 7.00pm. Please note we do not offer viewings on a Sunday or a Bank Holiday, however you would still normally receive a reply to your enquiry at some point on these days.
