Timberland Freedom 2 Berth Camper Van 2.5D - Impressive Spec! - 1997

This vehicle was converted to a camper van by Timberland Motorhomes Ltd when it was 3 years old with only 29k miles on the clock, it was a 1 owner van at that time. It was sold to a gentleman in March 2000 who owned it for over 7.5 years then traded it back into Timberland against another camper. In November 2007 it was then sold to a second gent who owned it right up until recently when he traded it into us against a more modern camper van, he owned it for almost 9 years!. The camper has covered 95184 miles with service history and has only a few hundred miles ago had a new cam belt fitted.

Massive specification to include:

Propex blown air heating system, Huge roof mounted solar panel linked to leisure battery (the van has TWO leisure batteries!), Thetford cassette toilet, Hot/cold shower, Stoves full size cooker with gas grill and 4 ring gas hob, huge roof skylight, Sink in kitchen with hot/cold tap, Fiamma bike rack, Status TV aerial, Electrolux 3 way fridge (gas/12v/240v), 12v lighting, Carver Rapide hot water heater, integrated Sharp Microwave/Grill, loads of storage cupboards, CD player, removable table, 12/240v inverter, 240v hook up, fresh water tank, waste water tank, rotating captains chairs.

The camper will be 19yrs of age in November and as you would expect it has age/mileage related marks and wear/tear. The interior (surely the most important part of any camper!) is lovely and has been well cared for as you can see from the images, the last owner of almost 9 years was a professional photographer and used the van when on assignment to large companies etc, he only used it now and again hence why the interior is in such great shape! The paintwork is bright and clean. There are a few small areas where the lacquer has started to peel, a little on top of the front wings, and also the cab above the windscreen, not the end of the world though and easily rectified if you want it perfect. As with any french van from this era it has had some welding previously and this is evident on drivers side sill area, it will also need a couple of bits of welding for it's new MOT that we will provide, please don't let this put you off though as this is a lovely genuine camper van with an amazing specification. I can't ever remember having a camper with such a reasonable sized footprint and such a massive specification, it is amazing how Timberland have packed everything in there, fantastic use of space!
