Go anywhere in this versatile L200 4x4 with demountable Apollo motorhome. Fields forests and beaches are no problem for this 4wd motorhome!

This motorhome was taken in part exchange against one of our retail vehicles. It is not upto the usual standard we would like for a retail vehicle and as such we are selling it as a part exchange to clear in need of work.

Spec includes: 4 ring gas hob, gas grill, hot water, microwave, cassette toilet, shower, solar panel system, leisure battery system (extra leisure batteries), roof rack, rear ladder, fridge/freezer, Fiamma wind out awning.

4 Berth - Very large double above cab, smaller double using two sofas.

We have had a look over the vehicle and motorhome and would point out the following:

1). Some damp in bed area over cab, readings we found from 30-50% in places, rest of motorhome seems fine although there was also some high readings in the bathroom ceiling around the roof vent. We have resealed both of these areas externally and had a dehumidifier in the habitation area to try and prevent any further moisture entering these areas.

2). Hot water system works fine on 240v, but cannot be used on gas (requires attention)

3). Gas wall heater doesn't work. We feel it is more than likely beyond repair and would need replacing if you want gas heating.

4). Bodywork on the L200 is good considering it is 21yrs of age however some areas of the silver paintwork would require attention if you want it spot on (please see video)

Remember this is a 21yr old pick up truck with a small house on the back, so needless to say it doesn't drive like a Rolls Royce! One thing for sure is that it is not a lover of strong winds, and as with any high sided vehicle you need to be careful when driving in windy conditions. Our driver drove 150+ miles back to base in this vehicle, in windy and very wet conditions, on the motorway it sat happily at 55-60MPH.

The L200 has covered 137107kms (85692 miles) and the last owner had the cambelt changed in September 2023. Not sure why the odometer is in KMS rather than miles.

An ideal project for anyone who is handy with damp work/repairs etc, or you could just use the motorhome 'as is' and live with the damp (that is not obvious) same as the last owner did.

For us it is not a retail vehicle and such it is being sold as a project with MOT until July 2024. Priced accordingly at only £7995 we feel it represents great value for money considering what you can normally buy for under £8k.
