This stunning super low mileage Autosleeper Trooper was purchased when new in October 1999 from Brownhills Newark by a school Headmaster from Lincoln. This gentleman cherished the vehicle for almost 12 years until 2011 when it was purchased by it's second owner, a retired Maths teacher, also from Lincoln!

The camper has only covered a mere 57087 miles from new with excellent service history. The 1968cc petrol engine is refined and smooth in comparison to the diesel version and the vehicle drives impeccably well as you would expect. Sitting in the cab all of the controls/buttons/steering wheel have defied the test of time with minuscule wear and tear, this is not your typical 21yr old VW camper, it is (in my humble opinion) something special!

The two owners have kept excellent service records, handbooks, original Autosleeper sales brochure from 1999, original Trooper instruction manual, 2 x sets of keys, old MOT's etc.

240v hook up, 12v leisure battery system, rotating passenger seat, rear seat has 2 x 3 point seat belts fitted, 2 x removable tables, sink with cold water tap, twin gas hob, storage cupboards, 12v lighting, tow bar with electrics, unmarked OEM genuine VW T4 wheel trims, Electrolux 3 way fridge, fresh water tank.

This is not the cheapest Trooper out there, in-fact it is one of the most expensive, but where are you going to find one like this with 57k miles, 2 owners, and in such original and unspoiled condition that you are going to attract attention everywhere you go! Original decals, original carpets even the original sales brochure! The last owner said he has the original Auto-Sleeper crockery set for the van somewhere at home, I will try my very best to get that from him!

Incredible condition as you can see from the HD images. There is some very minor surface corrosion inside the front wheel arch lips that has been touched in sympathetically, and the ceiling of the elevating roof has some spotting from mildew (will try and get that off) but hand on heart, you are really going to struggle to find better from this era.

Any of our retail vehicles (not part ex to clear) can be purchased online and delivered to your door with only a £500 deposit payable by card or bank transfer. A sales invoice would be emailed to you along with bank details or a secure card payment link for the deposit payment.

As part of our PDi (Pre Delivery Inspection) all sold vehicles receive a full valet and sanitisation, and upon delivery any surfaces touched by the driver (steering wheel, gear knob, handles etc) will be sanitised in front of the customer again. Pete our professional driver is ex Army and is very thorough and methodical. He is fully aware and experienced in sanitisation/hygiene procedures and also the social distancing advice from the government. Part Exchange
In most instances we would be very enthusiastic to take your current camper van or motorhome in part exchange against this vehicle. Or we will also consider your car, commercial van, or horsebox/horse trailer. Please send details of your vehicle by Email, WhatsApp or Text including reg number and photographs wherever possible so that we may arrive at the absolute best possible price for you. If you don't have anything to trade in then we can discuss some discount!!
I'm sorry but we don't deal in the following: caravans, boats or motorbikes.

Payment
You can RESERVE this vehicle with ONLY a £500 deposit payable by credit/debit card, bank transfer or cash. If you are reserving over the phone or by email a sales invoice would be emailed to you along with a secure card payment link and our company bank info. The deposit is fully refundable. The balance wherever possible would need to be paid by bank transfer on collection/delivery. While we are unable to accept full payment for a vehicle by credit card, on most vehicles we may consider accepting part of the payment by credit card if it helps. The same applies for cash payments, we can accept some of the payment in cash but not the full amount due to bank charges and regulations etc.

Workshop
Once sold all campers/motorhomes will go through the workshop and have a fresh new 12m MOT carried out (any advisories are also completed) and an engine oil service at the same time along with anything else the vehicle requires. The workshop we use is called MJ Watts Motor Engineers and they have been in business since the 1970's and have an outstanding reputation. You would receive a copy of the invoice we get from them showing in great detail the work they have carried out on the vehicle.

Warranty
For your peace of mind we give a 3 month comprehensive Nationwide warranty on all of our camper vans/motorhomes. While every precaution is taken to ensure the vehicle is free of faults upon delivery/collection now and again things can and do go wrong and when they do we will assist you to have the problem fixed. We would work with a local repairer to yourselves to have any work completed.

Delivery
On our retail Camper/Motorhome vehicles we can normally offer you FREE NATIONWIDE DELIVERY, however this would be on a case by case basis as it will depend on your location, the price of the vehicle, and the margin we have in the vehicle. Please get in touch with your postcode and we can let you know about delivery.

Collection
You are of course most welcome to come to us to collect. If you prefer to come by train or plane to collect your new camper/motorhome in Lincolnshire then one of us can come and pick you up from Grimsby Town or Market Rasen Train stations, or from Humberside airport.

Viewings
Please be aware that all viewings are by pre arranged appointment only. We work from home in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside and do not have set opening hours unlike traditional high street showrooms, therefore if you were to turn up and we didn't know that you were coming, then there is a distinct possibility that Darren who handles all of the sales enquiries may not be on site to see you.

Viewings can be arranged 6 days a week Monday to Saturday between the hours of 9.00am and 7.00pm. Please note we do not offer viewings on a Sunday or a Bank Holiday, however you would still normally receive a reply to your enquiry at some point on these days.
